Project Engineer

Project Engineer required with extensive experience of structured cabling systems. Good working knowledge of ADC Krone solutions preferable, but not essential. The individual must be based in the Southampton area. The majority of time will be spent on customer premises, with visits to our Camberley office as required.

The Project Engineer will take a site-based lead on a long term contract for the supply and installation of structured cabling for a customer with multiple premises in and around Southampton. The Project Engineer will be responsible for daily interaction and co-ordination with the customer and will report to the Service Delivery Manager with overall responsibility for the contract.

Activities will include carrying out job surveys, preparing quotations, and leading the installation team(s). It should be noted that the Project Engineer will be required to carry out installation work either individually or leading a team of other engineers. Apart from the necessary experience of structured cabling systems, the key requirement will be for an individual with excellent customer relationship management skills. The contract runs to strict service levels, and it is essential that these are maintained at all times.
